1. Valid Prescriptions
QuickMeds requires a valid prescription from a licensed medical practitioner for all prescription-only medications (S4 and S8 categories). A valid prescription must include the patient’s full name, the practitioner’s details, the medication name, dosage instructions, and the practitioner's signature. We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any prescription with the issuing clinic.
2. Online Consultations
For patients who do not currently hold a physical prescription, we offer a secure online consultation service. You will be asked to complete a health assessment form which is reviewed by a licensed doctor. If the practitioner determines the treatment is appropriate for your condition, a digital prescription will be generated and processed by our pharmacy team automatically.
3. Medication Safety
Patient safety is our core value. Our pharmacists review every order to check for potential drug interactions or contraindications based on the medical history you provide. We may contact you or your doctor if we require additional clarification before dispensing your medication to ensure your absolute well-being.
4. Refills & Limits
Refill requests are managed in strict accordance with the instructions provided by your doctor. We cannot dispense more than the quantity authorized on your prescription. For chronic conditions, we recommend setting up refill reminders to ensure your treatment is never interrupted due to processing times.
- Verification: All prescriptions are verified within 2-4 hours.
- Storage: Digital copies of your prescriptions are stored securely and privately.
- Compliance: We follow all Australian pharmaceutical laws and standards.
